MARCH 2019
Karate South Africa hosted two National Championships; 2nd-3rd March, Durban 23rd-24th March, Cape Town.
Where all the 8 provinces were represented to be the ultimate Champion of Champs.
This also served as a ranking system for International Championships this year such as; Zone 6, African Cup, WKF Youth Cup League and World Championship.
In November 2018 athletes had to take part in order to qualify for the JHB District. Those selected in JHB again had to qualify this year in February to represent Gauteng province. Finally the top four athletes in Gauteng (consisting of the five Districts) took part in the S A Champions.

Also I would like to extend a very big thank you to Sensei Roberta for representing 4Ways Dojo who officiated so selflessly and tirelessly at the KSA Nationals. It was a hectic two days doing a sterling job. Last, but not least, a special thank you to Jacqui Baynes for all her hard work as Team Manager for Gauteng Karate Federation.
Well done and may you all go from strength to strength in your preparation!
